FUKashere Announces Resumption of Academic Activities

We are pleased to announce that academic activities at FUKashere have resumed.

To ensure the safety and well-being of our students, we have put in place a number of new measures. We ask for your cooperation as we work to get things back to normal.

What Is FUKashere?

FUKashere is a tertiary institution in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. It is a government-owned institution with a focus on the sciences and technology.

The school was forced to close its doors in November of 2017 due to an ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). But good news! The school has just announced that academic activities will resume on Monday, January 29th.

We’re thrilled to hear this news and we’re sure all of the students are, too. We can’t wait to see what the new semester brings!

When Will Academic Activities Resume?

This is to inform Staff and students of Federal University of Kashere that the Senate at her 6th Special Meeting held today, Wednesday, 26th October, 2022 hes approved and reveised Academic Calendar for 2021/2022 Academic Session and resumption of Academic Activities in the University.

Consequently upon this development, the University will resume normal academic Activities with the continuation of late registration for fresh and returning students effective Monday, 31st October, 2022. In the same vein, lectures for undergraduate students will continue on Monday, 7th November, 2022.

Accordingly, First Semester 2020/2021 Examinations for postgraduate students will also continue on Monday, 7th November, 2022.

Therefore, students are expected to return to the University on Monday, 31st October,2022
