WAEC (West African Examinations Council) has just announced that the results will be available at the council offices in Nigeria only, starting from June 19th, 2023. Below is a guide on how to check your WAEC result.
1. Log onto the WAEC result checking portal, www.waecdirect.org
2. Key in your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. The examination number includes the candidate’s 7-digit centre number as well as a 3-digit candidate number eg.1234567890
3. Key in your examination year eg. 2023
4. Select the type of examination. For this purpose, candidates are expected to click WAEC.
5. Key in the e-PIN Voucher Number
6. Key in the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN, and ensure the correct figures are keyed in.
7. Click the submit icon and wait for the results window to pop up.
Certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released will be ready within the next 90 days, counting from November 23, 2023.
You don’t need to purchase any scratch card/pin to access your result. Candidates are to check the Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination for their Result Checker PIN and Serial Number.
- Go to WAEC 2023 result checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org.
- Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
- Select your Examination Year i.e. 2023.
- Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
- Enter the Card Serial Number.
- Enter the Card PIN.
- Finally, click the “Submit” button to get your 2023 WAEC Result.
